Payment Integrations: Gateways, Terminals, Platforms, and Software

Host Merchant Services is a payment service provider and a software company. We provide our clients with software and payment integration through our ten Cloud Manager products, which are built on PaymentCore, the payment layer that we offer to partners through the HMS PayAPI.

Software partners should consider payment integrations based on the platform, gateway, or hardware. Merchants should compare gateway prices on our merchant pricing page based on their needs. Visit Supported Payment Gateways & Software for more information.

HMS PayAPI / PaymentCore

Our developers can work with you to provide the API, payment pages, embedded fields, pay links, or invoices. We support you and your developers during the integration process by providing sandbox and UAT environments, and development documentation. We can also support your developers by integrating the solution for you (white glove integration). See Developer Resources.

Hosted Payment Page

Accept payments through an HMS-hosted page.

Embedded Fields/Tokenizer

Use an iframe tokenizer to tokenize hosted payment fields and, therefore, eliminate card data from your systems.

Pay Links and Invoices

Provide customers with a pay link or an invoice for payment.

Boarding API

Use an API to complete merchant applications, allowing each merchant to receive an HMS merchant account.

Processing Platforms

HMS currently supports low- and high-risk merchants through the systems listed below. Partners can use PaymentCore and be processed through a pre-certified account, or be directly certified by TSYS or CardConnect through HMS support.

TSYS

Available via PaymentCore or direct processor sponsorship.

Fiserv

Available through HMS integration.

CardConnect / CardPointe

Processing via CardConnect with direct certification and connections to CardPointe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you integrate with my existing gateway?
HMS supports gateway integrations including NMI, Authorize.Net, TSYS TransIT, CardPointe and FluidPay. Check the gateway list above for your current connection. If it is not listed, use the integration form to tell us what your software uses so we can discuss the available paths.
Dejavoo, Clover, PAX and Valor are supported semi-integrated terminal options. Tell us which hardware your customers use and how it needs to connect with your software. We’ll scope the terminal integration with your team and provide documentation for the path you choose.
QuickBooks POS is not an integration; HMS offers replacement POS options. Moving off QuickBooks POS? We’ll replace it. Explore our point-of-sale options for the replacement path. QuickBooks Online and Desktop have a separate payment integration covered on the accounting page.
Gateway pricing is on Supported Payment Gateways & Software. That page is for merchants reviewing individual gateway options. This directory is for software teams choosing a connection; partnership models and revenue sharing are covered on the SaaS & ISV Partner Program page.
